Elk Spirit
This series is the first series I have done in my adult life, and I was so inspired by the photos I saw of this Powwow that I knew exactly what I wanted the end result to look like for all of these paintings. This is famous flute player and dancer Tony Duncan and his son. They are San Carlos Apachee.
Elk Spirit is 1 of 3 paintings in my Native series. Part of the reason I started my business was to be able to give a percentage of my proceeds to different groups of people, and to honor different cultures.
