I have always yearned for a connection to the natural world, to spirit, and to my deepest self.  Through my art I feel I am reviving more and more of that connection.  My focus tends to be the relationship between people and the natural world.

Often a particular place in nature, or a particular animal has deep meaning to us. To me, all life has a deep meaning. All animals and plants have lessons for us, and we need to stop and recognize that there is wisdom beyond our own understanding of the reality we have so violently created. 

My work makes all of these feelings of disconnection and deep connection a visual experience, rather than an internal one. My hope is that people will connect with my art and find that it sparks some sort of deep remembering or knowing.

My deepest wish is that my art will inspire people to stand up against the continuous destruction of the natural world, and for us to stand with indigenous people and minority groups so we may all have a more harmonious future living on this planet with one another.
